In 1968, the first English Language Institute(ELI) the American Language Center (ALC) in Nepal was founded by the American Mission in Kathmandu. Since then, the ALC has been at the forefront of providing English language and communication skills training.
Our various youth and adult programs are all designed to meet the specific needs of their target audience, and are focused on the educational, cultural and social success of our students. We use innovative methods in an environment that is both stimulating and safe, in order to encourage English fluency and situational competency. Here at ALC, we strive to prove that language learning can be fun and practical!
As a leader in English language training, ALC offers many programs to help students achieve their English learning goals. From General English, Professional/Business English, and Special English Classes to Customized/Individual Instruction, you can advance toward your own goals with the help of our institution and its staff.
After successfully completing each course, students are granted a course completion certificate that is recognized worldwide.
